I really need to get Soryu finished so I can start on the Gotland. I look at other people's blogs and they are doing all this lovely, lovely very fine gauge spinning in gray and I want to too . . .

Wow! That is really pretty. I wanted to make a sweater out of IK's Fall 07 that had linen stitch, but never got around to it. I can't believe how quick you knit!!
ReplyDeleteAccording to my family, I knit at an unhealthy level. :) Linen stitch in this yarn is resulting in an almost chenile-like fabric, it's really nice, but it's slow to do, since each row is really only half a row, so you're having to knit slightly less than twice as many rows per inch. But I really like it, I think it would be cool on some variegated yarn ... maybe all that sock yarn I dyed this spring?
